Job Requirements & Duties

  • Assess damage to agricultural property, including crops, livestock, equipment, and buildings
  • Review evidence such as photographs, reports, and witness statements to determine what caused the loss
  • Prepare detailed written reports that clearly explain findings and decisions
  • Research the cost of repairs or replacements for agricultural assets
  • Analyze insurance policies and customer files to calculate fair claim settlements
  • Communicate claim outcomes and compensation amounts to clients in a professional and understandable way
  • Work with other professionals such as contractors, adjusters, and ag specialists to verify claims
  • Ensure all claims follow insurance policy guidelines and industry regulations

Education & Training

  • A university degree in finance or another business-related field is required.
