Canadian Agri-Business Education Foundation

The Canadian Agri-Business Education Foundation is awarding seven $2,500 scholarships to Canadian students who are entering or currently pursuing an agricultural-related program at a Canadian college, university or apprenticeship (trade) institution.

Application deadline is April 30, 2024.

Those in the business of agriculture and food industry know there is no greater place to work. We also know we need talented, energetic young people to enter the industry to keep it great.  There has never been a more crucial time to support youth development in Canada’s agri-food sector.

There are numerous employment opportunities in the agriculture and food industries. Whether you're looking to become a plant breeder, an agri-marketer, a researcher, part of the agri-retail industry, a PhD, a farmer, or an agricultural equipment technician, it all starts with an undergraduate degree, diploma or apprenticeship in an agriculturally based or related program.

  • Where do I want to go? Do I want to stay close to home, my friends and family, or venture to the great unknown?

  • How long do I want to go to school before I can begin working?
