Job Requirements & Duties

  • Study agricultural production processes to find ways to make them more efficient, reduce waste, and use resources wisely
  • Review production systems and equipment to find ways to make work safer and more effective
  • Train staff on new methods that improve productivity, safety, and environmental care
  • Support team members as they adjust to new tools, technologies, or systems
  • Suggest new machinery, technologies, or procedures that improve quality and sustainability
  • Prepare reports that compare old and new production methods and show how each affects efficiency and quality

Education & Training

  • A university degree in manufacturing engineering, technology, or management, or a related field, plus several years of experience in a production setting is required for this job.
