Important Skills

Negotiating

Being a lawyer means fighting for those whose voices may not be as strong as yours. This means powerful negotiation and communication skills are needed!

Critical Thinking

In order to make informed decisions about topics I’m working with clients on, I do a lot of research into specific laws and regulations, and how they apply to each situation.

Adaptability

Sometimes we don’t win the case. As a lawyer, you have to be strong enough to bounce back and handle the next case with as much enthusiasm and passion.

Multi-tasking

I’m often working on several cases for multiple customers at the same time; I need to be able to juggle the workload and give every customer what they need.
