Some days I’m in the office organizing information and creating reports, other days I’m visiting sites to collect data or check on projects. I love solving puzzles with data and seeing how it helps agriculture grow smarter.

Job Requirements & Duties

  • Input, organize, and file data to support improvements in agricultural practices and sustainable food production
  • Record all work and recommendations accurately so teams or clients can use the information to make decisions in agriculture or food systems
  • Perform quality control checks and monitor processing systems to ensure accurate and timely completion of work
  • Coordinate with other teams, departments, and clients to answer questions, share data, and resolve technical issues
  • Perform tests, review the results, and suggest ways to make equipment and processes work better

Education & Training

  • Most jobs require a high school diploma and provide on-the-job training to learn specific skills.
  • For more technical positions, an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in science, electrical engineering, computer science, electronics, or a related field can be helpful.
