Job Requirements & Duties

  • Work with farmers and agri-businesses to understand challenges, find new opportunities, and use digital tools to improve production
  • Help farmers and agri-businesses stay current with the latest digital tools, apps, and smart farming technologies
  • Research new technologies and trends in agriculture to find the best digital solutions
  • Create and share presentations or reports that explain how technology can make farming more efficient and sustainable
  • Collaborate with researchers, educators, and government or business leaders to share knowledge about modern agriculture and innovation
  • Keep records of projects and track how digital solutions improve farm operations and productivity

Education & Training

  • A bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering, information technology (IT), or agri-business is usually required. Some jobs may also value experience with farming, data systems, or digital tools.
