Job Requirements & Duties

  • Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas to keep food safe and the workplace healthy
  • Operate machinery and equipment to process, mix, or cook food products safely
  • Gather and prepare ingredients and materials needed for food production
  • Move food products between stations or areas in the plant to keep production flowing
  • Inspect food products for quality and package them carefully for storage or shipment
  • Keep accurate records of ingredients, products, and inventory for tracking and reporting

Education & Training

  • No formal education is required, but courses in food safety, hygiene, or processing can be helpful. Hands-on experience in food production or working with agricultural products is valuable.
