Detail-Oriented

When working in a greenhouse, it’s very important to have an eye for detail so that any issues plants develop are noticed and dealt with right away.

Independence

While I often work with a team, it’s helpful to feel comfortable working independently because a lot of tasks like pollinating and watering only require one person.

Physical

Greenhouse work can be physically demanding. There’s heavy lifting, walking up and down rows, cleaning, and other hands-on responsibilities.

Adaptability

Plans change pretty regularly in a greenhouse based on what the plants require and what resources we have, so being able to adapt to these changes is really important.
