There’s no such thing as a routine day. I work in the office answering questions and analyzing data, but I also travel to farms to help clients use technology like GPS and sensors to improve crop and animal production. My job helps farmers grow food more efficiently.

Job Requirements & Duties

  • Provide technical support to help clients find the best product and service solutions for their farm 
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships
  • Test software and run field demonstrations to ensure everything is working effectively
  • Stay knowledgeable on digital agriculture technology and research by continuing to read and study new data
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentation material
  • Review technical documentation materials and manuals
  • Correct and update documents and records to fix technical problems

Education & Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, technical or agriculture-related field is required.
  • Having a post-graduate degree and experience with precision agriculture systems can help you stand out from other job candidates.
